| Google Alerts |
McGraw-Hill’s Press Gallery service provided lecturers and students with daily news articles relevant to specific subject areas until November 2009. Press Gallery has now been discontinued and we recommend Google Alerts to our customers. |
| What are Google Alerts? |
Google Alerts are email updates of the latest relevant Google results (web, news, video, blog) based on a search term. Google Alerts offers several advantages for lecturers and students compared to our previous Press Gallery product:
- power - taps directly into the world’s biggest search engine
- flexibility – results can be emailed to you once a day, once a week or as they happen
- variety – as well as news stories, details of related videos and blogs are also now provided
McGraw-Hill provides a suggested text-specific search term under the ‘Google Alerts’ topic on each of our texts’ online learning centres (OLCs).
